(molly) Brown, a Midwest art dealer who was one of the survivors of the(Titanic) disaster, did not figure in the most recent Titanic film which focussed on the fictional characters played by Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate something ( I did not see the picture but am reasonably sure Miss Brown ( not a cow!) did not figure in the plot. on the other hand she did ship out- so to speak in earlier Titanic films such as ( a Night To Remember). There was a Broadway play called ( The Unsinkable Molly Brown) later adapted to a movie starring Debbie Reynolds. Both were heavily advertised around l965. The Titanic disaster is an odd subject indeed for a musical comedy but so is World War II uprooting and dispersal- as in Sound of Music .
