CBS The Price is Right
Connie Dunall, Myra Carter, Paul Levine, and Sandy Florinar were the first 4 contestants on the very 1st episode of The Price Is Right.
There are three prizes to be won. The first prize is always something small with a dollar amount of 2 digits. you have to guess which two numbers they are. the same with the seond prize, only it contains a dollar amount of three digits. If you guess the first prizes right, you then can try to win the car. but you only have ten chances to win all three prizes. if you're good at guessing the first prizes quickly, you have that many more chances to guess the price of the car. I've seen people have seven or eight chances to guess the price of the car because they were able to guess the value of the other two prizes quickly.
That would depend on the kind of car the contestant is playing for and its actual retail price.
The Price is Right first debuted on November 26, 1956 on NBC and later ABC. The current version on CBS debuted on September 4, 1972. September 4, 1972
