Well, you see, people learned waterbending from the moon and the tides of the sea. Earthbenders learned from badger-moles, which appear in the series, in Book Two: Earth. Firebenders learned from dragons, like Iroh, Aang, and Zuko. Airbenders learned from the air bison (also known as wind buffalo) like Appa. Assuming Appa is not the last air bison, the next Avatar will have to study airbending from Appa or another air bison (even though Appa is the last air bison, who knows?) Also, rumour has it that airbenders did not die out and that they learned to 'become' wind. So they may well return. But that is just a rumour...
There have been many theories as to what would happen after Aang is gone. At the end of the series Aang learned how to bend the 'energy' inside people. And like Iroh who learned a technique by studying waterbenders, I'm pretty sure that Aang can still teach airbending. And if at all possible, bend their energy to create a new generation of airbenders. I don't think we've seen the last of them.
Aang can write a scroll and the next Avatar can learn from it. And if his kids are airbenders, he can teach them, who can then have airbender kids of their own and teach them. And so on.
Here's my theory:
In the end, we all saw that Aang kissed Katara. There's a high probability that Aang will marry Katara and have airbender kids, since its rare for Southern Water Tribe to have waterbender. Aang's kids will learn how to bend air and the Cycle continues. Aang's kids will get married, get children, and pass on the airbending skill. The future airbenders nomads will repopulate and teach the Avatar airbending.
Right, well, the above is true, but no-one said that the next Avatar could come from JUST the Southern Water Tribe. Since the Avatar Cycle goes air, water, earth, fire that means the next Avatar will be born within one of the Water Tribes. It may be Aang's child, who knows? One way or another, I don't think on any level that he is the last ever airbender. We have not seen the last of them, so let's just leave it there, shall we?
This has not been explicitly stated by the writers, but it is assumed that Aang could teach others the ways of airbending, which could be passed down to the next avatar. Other possible ways could be if Appa outlives Aang, he could teach the avatar airbending since airbison are the original airbenders. Past the next avatar might also be able to communicate with Aang and learn from him. These are the most likely answers.
It doesn't manner, because the Avatar spirit CYCLES through the 4 nations.
and since nether of kataras parents are water benders and katara is, there will probably be more air benders just with parents that aren't benders.
Aang only ever communicated with the most recent airbending avatar in one episode, and it was only for a brief time while he was discussing whether or not he should kill the Fire Lord Ozai. He ended up communicating with the avatar through meditation while on the back of the giant lion-turtle, and she showed up as a spirit in front of him and Momo.
Prince Zuko teaches the Avatar Firebending
The Last Airbender's name is Aang, who's title is the Avatar, and is voiced by Zachary Tyler. He is the main hero and saves the world along with Katara, Sokka, Toph, and later Zuko.
In the movie they said he was born/reborn with the ability so, he does not need to someone to teach him since he already knows it.
Waterbending, Earthbending, Firebending, and Airbending.
The episode where Aang attends a Fire Nation school is "The Headband" from Book 3: Fire. It is Episode 42.
The 4 bending styles are actually 4 forms of Chinese martial arts: Waterbending is based on Tai Chi, Earthbending is based on Hung Gar; Firebending is based on Northern Shaolin; and Airbending is based on Baguazhang
He kind of kills Combustion Man in Book 3, Chapter 12, "The Western Air Temple." He throws his boomerang at his eye and Combustion Man's firebending malfunctions, which causes a "massive point- blank explosion" which kills him.
Yes he does. When the Day of Black Sun invasion fails, Zuko finally realizes that his destiny is to help Aang defeat the firelord. He follows Aang to the Northern or Westen (whichever) Air Temple. They don't accept him at first, but he eventually becomes an asset to the group in which he teaches Aang firebending.
no its FAKE
They were the dragons known as The Firebending Masters
i saw it on the internet and zuko's firebending weakns because he doesn't have any rage to power his firebending so aang and zuko find the aceint sun warriors and they teach aang and zuko the real way to firebend.
The Western Air Temple: * The episode in which Zuko asks to teach Aang firebending and join the group. * The Air Temple that hangs from the side of a valley.
Waterbending, Earthbending, Firebending, and Airbending.
Aang accidentally burns Katara with his firebending in the book three episode "The Firebending Masters" (Season 3, Episode 13) of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
That would be "The FireBending Masters". the firebending masters when aang and zuko learn firebending (well zuko learns the propper way to use it) btw that episode is one of my favourte episodes
Firebending, waterbending, earthbending and airbending are entirely fictional and is the product of the writers of movie Avatar and its spinoffs. Anyone claiming it is a reality and can be taught is a charlatan.
Airbending,Firebending,WaterBending,EarthBending,Metalbending,lightningbending,sandbending,
