Goliath's head was buried there (Calvary) and this is where the name Golgotha is derived from. Goliath was a person sent by Satan himself to destroy the Hebrew (Israel) nation at that time when God chose David the Shepherd boy to slay him.
This is why when Jesus was crucified on top of the hill (Golgotha, which was predestined by God the Father, Jesus's precious blood that spilled on this hill fulfilled and sealed the promise God gave us.
