That is a matter of opinion. Some people don't like the Harry Potter series. Other love the books but dislike the movies because they have to change plots.
Remember that films tend to only be two and a half hours long or the audience will get bored. Therefore not everything in a book as long as Harry Potter can be put in, however some things they change are unnecessary. That's part of the reason they spilt the final film.
