Compared to what?
Tom and Jerry?
Bugs Bunny (vs Elmer Fudd W/ shotgun)?
Punch and Judy?
Road Runner? The violence has always been there, what has been added is a plot.
No, probably not. The main audience for WWE is adult men. August 7, 2008 Actually you are wrong. We are in the process of making it more kid friendly
Well... it depends on the age of the kid. If it is say 10 or under than it would probably not watch cartoons that are violent or to scary for them. I f they were older 11 and up they would watch older type cartoons and so on.
There may be more ThunderCats' cartoons , besides the 1985 & 2011 cartoons , if the upcoming film (which is on hold) is popular and generates enough sales and interest ."ThunderCats - Ho!"
I think it's because early cartoons were aimed at children, specifically. Cartoons nowadays have more adult themes and references than cartoons from the early 1900's to the 1960's. Those were cartoons from a more innocent era. People are more cynical and savvy now. There are plenty of cartoons nowadays that are aimed squarely at teens and adults. 'Family Guy', 'Futurama', 'The Simpsons', and many more, are written with an adult sensibility. I am not, in the least bit, ashamed to view these cartoons. In fact, I often reference them in everyday conversation. Despite all of this, I agree that there is a stigma attached to adults watching animated shows.
Hundreds, thousands, maybe tens of thousands of people draw cartoons. Care to be a little more specific on what it is you're asking?
Research has shown that violence on TV teaches a child to react in violent ways. Children were shown violent cartoons and a set of children weren’t shown violent cartoons. The behavior on the playground of children watching violent cartoons were more violent with other children compared to the set of children who didn’t watch violent cartoons. The violence in TV, movies, games, and video breaks down the psychological barriers of hurting others.

There was a study done on how watching TV violence affects the behaviors of preschoolers. To test this they had two groups of children watch cartoons on TV. One group watched violent cartoons and the other group watched cartoons without violence. Then, they observe the behaviors of the two groups on the playground. The children who had watched the violent cartoons were more apt to react with violence on the playground than children who hadn’t watched the violent cartoons. The conclusion was that watching violence on TV did affect behavior of children.

The comparative is "more violent"; the superlative is "most violent".
it depends on your child. A way to know how is next time your kid does something violent instead of punishing him ask why he did it and if he wanted to be like a certain hero like batman or ben 10 or whatever they watch. however there are some cartoons your kids shouldn't watch
the relationship between musicals and cartoons is that when cartoons are on there is always music in the background making the cartoon more enjoyable and more outstanding....

Yes, you can still watch cartoons if your twenty years or more. There is fun and entertainment in cartoons which make people laugh. And cartoons are great, well depending on the type of person of course.
Cartoons can be a pleasant distraction from more serious issues ; a diversion from realty .
