Until recently it has been ALL ABOUT white people's history. Women and people of color have not had their history told. No one has known about the writers, teachers, scientist, or artists that were women or people of color. Holidays celebrate men like Columbus who killed native Americans.Women and people of color have been kept out of business and education. Maps have shown nations that have a majority population of people of color as smaller than white nations. It has been a white man's world.
They call white people "white" in their native language.
a logical drawing is when people have the black and white together for black history month
It was both but mostly white and some black people were against it because the white people would kill a black man or mabye woman if they were caught with a white man/woman
No.. White people are just as good.. Black people usually have more speed but white people have more strength.
The white population in Canada is a group of people, living in Canada, who are white or Caucasian in race.
White History Month would be every month but February.
Navajos are white and black, happy black history month
People learn of white history every month of the year, and that is including in Black History month. To have a month set aside would be surely redundant and only reinforce what is reinforced everyday in society and schools.
Every month of the year except February is white history month in America.
Of course not. We don't need a white history month in the United States because all our history has been written from a white perspective with the focus on white achievement and leadership.
Some whites are rude to blacks during Black History Month because they claim it is unfair and unequal to others without a history month. This is unfounded since there are other months designated for other races; they simply are not as high profile as Black History Month. Some even claim there is no White History Month which many have to repeat back that there is; it is every month on the calender. Since white history is taught no matter what, there is no need to have any specific month for it which is what many hope will happen for Black History and which is the whole point of it; that history about black Americans will be taught not because of a month, but because it is history and needs to be known.
If you're a straight white male, you get 5 months.
There is not specifically a white history month. However, there are months such as Irish-American Heritage Month (March), Polish American History Month (October), and Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (May). There are many groups out there rallying to get their history month to be more recognized. If you would like a certain history month to be made less obscure then do your research and see what you can do to help out your group.

Because at no point did white people in general ever have repression thrown upon them. White people in this country have never had to fight to equalize themselves from the difference of skin color. It is important because countries observe and remember important people and events in the history of the African diaspora.
