Why did Jim go in to Sam's body and why did Sam go into Jim's body?

jim went into sams body because sams ghost had already gone into the light jim did it cos he wanted to be with melinda. sam didnt go into jims body, jims dead its his ghost thats still alive. he looks like jim on tv but he actually looks like sam to everyone thats looking at him and if u watch some episodes when "jim" looks in the mirror he actually does look like sam

yes, after jims ghost gos into sams body they become the same person but sam/jim had amnesia so he couldnt remember who he was he eventually remembers jims memory. but he still looks like sam

i think you got it the wrong way around. Jim is in sams body. sam and Jim have both died and as we all know Jim is melinders loved one. sam was someone who died in a motorbike accident and melinder was there. sam crossed over and Jim jumped into sams body thinking this will help him and melinder continue to be together. not to spoil things if you have not yet finished the series this does have consequences.

Yeah well your watching parts of season 4 and then going to season 5. well Jim died and went into this guy name sam. Now when Jim went into sam body he couldn't remember anything cuz of the accident. but throughout season 4 he starts to remember things but things about melinda and then in a episode called the leap of faith . Jim remebers and doesnt even remember going into someone elses body. wel then in the next episode melinda finds out she is pregant wif jims baby not sam! this was before Jim died. so that's pretty much how it goes n then in season 5 there son is born..i no confusing...but i hope it helps!

While Jim/Sam is swimming to rescue Melinda he becomes out of breathe and starts to drown himself. While.he is drowning all of his past memories as Jim return. Melinda manages to swim towards Jim/Sam and rescues him. Jim/Sam passes out and when he awakens he remembers who he is. Melinda calls him Sam and Jim looks confused at Melinda and asks her Why are you calling me Sam I'm Jim. This tells Melinda he now knows who he really is and they kiss. Melinda is also pregnant with real Jims baby.
