Why did Mark Levin write Ameritopia?

Like many conservative talk show hosts and pundits, Mark Levin was very worried and upset by the re-election of President Obama; for Mr. Levin, this was another sign that liberals were leading the United States down a very dangerous path. Levin published Ameritopia in 2012 to expand upon his concern that America had become intellectually and morally bankrupt, and that individual rights were under attack. Much of what he wrote was very familiar to conservative readers and reinforced what they had often heard from conservative sources (and from Levin's talk show).
