Ponyboy really likes the red-head Soc cheerleader, Cherry Valance but knows they are not meant to be. Ponyboy lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma and goes to Will Rogers high school. Ponyboy has no manners but is really nice and sweet. It depends on the person. Ponyboy does not really get along with his older brother Darrel Curtis. Ponyboy Curtis (in the movie) is played by Christopher Thomas Howell.
