Harijans are the lowest on the Indian and Hindu Caste system. The where traditionally known as 'the untouchables' but a great Indian leader Ghandhi, changed their names to harijans, meaning children of God. Their main jobs where to sweep the streets, kill animals and other gross stuff. They where considered worthless.
