Carpathia did. It was 58 miles away at the time, so it couldn't get there in time to rescue everyone, but it did respond to distress calls and alter its course to find the survivors. Other ships either were even farther away, or did not have their ship's radios turned on (there was no law at the time requiring a ship's radio to be on past midnight). It was simply a case of bad luck.
Alot of ships tryed to help the Titanic. The closest ship to respond was the Carpathia. She could get to Titanic in 4 hours. Many ships to help the Titanic did not go to where Titanic was because they knew they there were closer ships responding e.g Baltic, Verginia and Frankfurt. These ships relayed messages to other ships and to camp race. Titanic's sister ship Olympic also made full steam towards Titanic and asked Titanic's wireless operator if Titanic was moving south to meet her. On the 15th April several more ships arrived to look for survivors including the Mount Temple and the California whose wireless operator had no idea what had happened to the Titanic until the Mount Temple told him what had happened.
Ruth Becker was aboard the Titanic and she had 2 siblings Richard whom was 1 years old and Marion whom was 4 years old aboard the Titanic. Her mom was Nellie Becker and was 35 when aboard the Titanic. They all survived the sinking of the Titanic . When Ruth died she wanted to be buried with the Titanic so if you go down to Titanic you will probably see her body.
A lot of people blamed Captain Smith for the sinking as he ordered the ship to go full speed even though he knew about the ice, but it was the ship's owner Bruce Ismay who influenced him to go full speed. You can't blame the sinking on just one person
Capt. Smith, the Gentleman's Captain, was a favorite of the White Star Line. So much so that he was on the maiden voyages for the Adriatic, the Majestic, the Baltic, the Olympic, and Titanic.
For the film, there were several ways of getting the Titanic. For the underwater scenes in the beginning, they really did go to the actual wreck. A reconstruction was built at Playas de Rosarito, Baja California and for the sinking scenes, scale models and computer-generated imagery were used
the Wreck of the Titanic was found 350 miles southeast of Newfoundland, Canada
On the sea, there's no shops to stop at on the ocean der.
it caused the passengers to get on lifebelts and dress warmly, because it was cold outside, and it also caused the captain to go down to go see where the titanic hit the iceberg.
Yes. The movie is doing the same thing that happened on the Titanic the night of the sinking except there was no Jack and Rose or any of the characters.
He helped the women and children get on life boats but refused to go himself.
well nobody knows for sure but in the movie the titanic was a cruize ship and they were going to New York for a cruiz well that's whats in the movie but nobody knows for real and what happend in the real life story
There is plenty of blame to go around for the sinking of the Titanic, although Bruce Ismay probably could have prevented it if he had taken the danger seriously. As for the deaths, most of them were caused by the coldness of the water and not enough lifeboats, yet the Titanic actually had more lifeboats than the law required at the time. A study of this disaster reveals many chances to avoid it, but it took the sinking of the ship before these chances were noted and the faults corrected.
There was no ship called Britannica in the Atlantic during the sinking of Titanic. There was Britannic, which was one of it's sister ships, but it didn't actually set sail until 1914. There was also a Britannic that was built in 1929 and there was Britannia that was built in 1840 and decommissioned in 1880. You may be thinking of the Californian, which was within 20 miles of the Titanic at the time of its sinking. However, they did not go to her aid.
