Prejudice and discrimination. People did (and still do!..) think they are better than black people. They believe they did not deserve the same rights. Rosa Parks is an example of someone who stood up for black rights.
They feared that they would rebel against them, and try even harder to abolish slavery. Other reasons include them trying to come and take the rest of their family (if they still even have their family. Normally families are split up, and most slaves never actual met their parents), majority of the time, the slaves were much stronger than their owners, so in some cases the owners would fear that their former slaves would take revenge, and many other reasons that would take forever to list. Hope I helped! =)
Free African Americans threatened the institution of slavery.
Mostly because of slavery torwards the black people and the whites did not like the color of blacks so they took action.
Black codes were codes made during Reconstruction after the Civil war, they were made to control blacks after they were emancipated. They were not actual Laws, but like a code of conduct in the south. They basically included that blacks had to be in service of a white person, that they could not have congregations together, that they could not speak out, and that they could not have weapons. They also included that blacks could not go out without a white 'supervisor'
life for African Americans was extremely difficult. but they began to rebel at this point. harriet Tubman started the underground railroad, Frederick Douglas made "the north star". they were extremely courageous. they were punished of course,by lynching. lynching is most frequently classified as hanging. but its also any form of torture. also people in the south were killed if they had one too many slaves
White africans felt like this wasnt there country because the blacks(afriacans) took over and left out the whites so they decided its best to move.
Blacks should demand equality and civil rights
not so strict, like they just wanted to get it over with and the the blacks had no rights
White men governed the South after the Civil war because most Southerners did not like that blacks were free from slavery , therefor they did not want a black to govern one of their states .
They couldn't have certain jobs or live in certain states.

Blacks did not like being slaves; slavery was a brutal and dehumanizing system that deprived individuals of their basic rights and freedoms. Enslaved people endured unspeakable suffering, exploitation, and violence at the hands of their oppressors. It is important to recognize the resilience and resistance of enslaved individuals rather than perpetuating myths that suggest they were complicit in their own oppression.
That would be like turkeys voting for Xmas.
some people dont like blacks some people dont like whites some people just hate everyone including themselves. some people dont like blacks some people dont like whites some people just hate everyone including themselves.
For the most part it is basically like this: the affluent people live in the east end, the working class people live in the south end, the west end is primarily blacks.
because the people did not like blacks
Yes, it would be considered a proper noun, like Oriental or Caucasian.
it was a struggle for the freed slave because they didn't know what to do or how to get jobs or nothing!
Lincoln fought to free the slaves from the south, places like Georgia, Florida etc. as opposed to the people in the north who did not use slavery.
