he probally got tired of batman getting all the glory. in the 1960's it was the dynamic duo or the caped crusaderS. then as batman evovolved robin stayed in the shadows. it was the caper crusadeR not batman and robin. batman saved the day. though if you ask me dick grayson is the best robin.

∙ 11y agoRobin was in "The Dark Knight" trilogy, though he does not serve as Batman's sidekick. His name is John Blake, a detective working for the Gotham City Police Department. Near the end of "The Dark Knight Rises", Blake reveals his legal name is Robert John Blake. At the end of the movie, Blake inherits the Batcave. It is implied that he will become a masked vigilante and replace Batman as the city's hero.
