She had been so badly damaged by the impact of the collision with the iceberg that it has split a large hole in the starboard side.
The Titanic sank so quickly because it had 16 compartments and only four could be filled with water. but five filled with water and the weight of the water caused the ship to tilt up and the weight of the water broke the ship in two and it sank

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Since the damage occurred in the front half of the ship, the watertight features prevented the incoming water from spreading evenly throughout the lower portion of the ship. As the water rushed in to the bow (front end), that made that section heavier, causing it to tilt downward into the water. This caused the stern (rear end) of the ship to rise out of the water. With gravity pushing down on the rising stern, the ship eventually splits in two, causing it to sink even faster.

basicly it was filled with water as soon as it hit the iceberg
Some theories say that rivots were so weak that they broke off and caused many holes. The reason it sank really fast is because the water spilled over the short walls of the compartments.
5 of its 16 compartments were filled

The Titanic sank because more than four of the sixteen airtight compartments were full after Titanic hit an iceberg.

The main reason the R.M.S TITANIC sank so quickly is that it had a 220 to 245 foot long gash below the water line it and water was poring in at lest 1000 gallons per seconds at a time then the water filled a watertite campartment and it would folw over to the next and so one then then the ship brok in hafe so that is the reason the titanic sank so fast
There are compartments on the bottom of the ship that are meant to keep it afloat if one or two get punctured. An underwater portion of the berg sliced open five of these compartments simultaneously and the compartments aren't meant to deal with that kind of damage.
