In my knowledge Pooka is Anastasia"s dog. She is a Russian wolfhound puppy- Anastasia grows up in the storyline, but Pooka remains about the size of a miniature poodle, which she is not. the word, in Russian and related languages means Female Dog. Pooka cannot talk, unlike, say, Astro but does manage- a four bark sequence ( Rah-rah-rah-rah) which could be sounding out her Mistress" name in well Russian Doggish! Anastasia is a Fox ( movie company) and NOT a Disney production.

Does garu like pucca?
He does but not the same way as pucca. Although, in the animated shorts, they are going out. Garu is just too shy and embarassed to show effection to pucca. He does in the animated shorts, however on rare accasions, show he loves pucca back.
