Why do people pair flippy with flaky in happy tree friends?

Flaky is Flippy's closest friend in the actual show. In "Party Animal" (the episode where she threw a party for him), she was in his plain sight when he started killing other characters, but he didn't kill her. Some people who don't like the couple find excuses for this and say she was all puffed up and had a different form, but Nutty also was a spinning tornado and looked differently, but Flippy still killed him. They also say Flippy didn't kill The Mole either in that episode, but The Mole wasn't in Flippy's plain sight like Flaky, was he? He just didn't kill her for strange, ambiguous reasons, and most probably, he didn't kill her because he actually cares for her the most. In "Double Whammy", he didn't kill her there either. Her scream actually snapped him out of his flipped out mode. In "Without A Hitch", he had plenty of reasons to flip out and kill her, but he didn't do it. He actually tried to save her at the end of the episode, but, unfortunately, Flaky has developed a phobia of Flippy (she has become too terrified of him). So when he tried to save her, she thought he was trying to kill her and defended herself, so she stabbed him in the eye. Some people say Flippy was actually cured in that episode, but he wasn't, because he flipped out in other episodes after that. (e.g.:"Hear Today, Gone Tomorrow"). He just didn't flip out in Flaky's presence because he didn't want to kill her, almost confirming the fact that he really cares about her deeply, more than he cares about any other character on this show. Flippy has interracted with Flaky the most from all the characters, and especially from all the females. They are opposites in terms of everything. Flaky is fearful and scared all the time and Flippy is the scariest character, a psychopathic murderer, which makes him her worst fear. It's a case of opposites attract, a case of Evil loves Good. The tough, bad guy loves the soft, timid girl. That's why most people like the idea of Flippy and Flaky being together romantically. Because it's the most interesting couple this show can ever provide. Plus, the fandom has created a really popular anime version of them and different side stories with Flippy and Flaky, which made the couple even more popular.
