Why do people think comedy is funny?

People like to be familiar with what they watch. The sitcom formula delivers comfort. It does not challenge. As in Croft & Perry in UK delivering the same catchphrase week in week out on several different programmes works wonders !

I am a big time comedian and as one I can say that hate is what makes comedy work. If you hate someone and wanna say something about them make it sound original and messed up alittle. Or if your just trying to be funny out of any little thing, THINK about something that was funny in your life. I use both. Sometimes if you just say things that don't even make sens it's not that bad. Like making a lough that's sounds like a sea Oder and and make a joke like I got that from when I was dreaming of a sea Oder jacking it on a ice berg. And really think about what you say before you say it. That joke wasn't that dumb...
