Why does Sonic avoid Amy?

Sonic never hated Amy. it's just that Amy is always chasing him around, stalking him, hugging him, and trying to kiss him in most of the episodes. sonic just tries to avoid her and run away from her cuz he probably don't like all that hugging and kissing and he don't have any space around Amy. so he just avoids her, that dosent mean he hates her. If Sonic liked Amy more then a friend, sega would have said that a long time ago. But I guess if Amy doesnt do all those stuff then I think Sonic will love Amy.Although on the Comics Range Sonic loves Sally but Sally was never in any games or in Sonic next Gen. So that means Sally was never invented. It's just Archie Comics used old Sonic Charecters (before Sonic Next Gen) to create a Fan Fiction ( Most of the Charecters are being included in the present Sonic Games by SEGA (C)
