Anaerobic bacteria [eg botullism] causes foaming. Do not eat or you will get sick and can even die
Clean your filter properly and you will not get foam. Defoamers just add phosphates adding to the foaming problem. Foaming in the pool can because by several different things. It could be chemical or equipment. First Equipment. Make sure you do not have an air leak on the suction side of the pump. Prime suspect here is the strainer lid gasket or "O" ring. Or possibly where the pipe or hose connects to the strainer of the pump. If you have an above ground pool the hose between the skimmer and the pump can be a suspect as well. The reason this is a problem is it will inject air back into the pool which agitates the water and can cause foam depending on what it going on with the water. Also make sure the return jets are pointed down. You do not want the return water to break the surface of the pool water. This can cause the same agitation and foam. Second chemical. If you have used an algaecide that is a quaternary ammonium compound this product is a foaming agent by its nature. If you use any algaecide make sure it says on the bottle non-foaming. The foam will fade as time goes on through dilution. The other chemical problem is low calcium hardness. Depending on the type of pool surface you should maintain a minimum calcium hardness level of 170 to 225 parts per million. Soft water will help the water foam up. Have your water professionally analyzed. Enjoy your pool!
"Foam brightens like the dogwood now" is A--a simile.
"Foam brightens like dogwood," is an example of a simile. It makes a comparison between two things using like or as, thus is a simile.
Normally they are made of differant types of foam
sea foam green and the spikes are blue
We use foam rubber to stop condesation of water from the surface of pipe.

Soap has good surface tension, which makes it easier to form bubbles. Foam is just lots of bubbles.
memory foam
Its not a reaction strictly speaking. Foam is when gas is suspended by a liquid bubble on the surface of a liquid. Foam occurs when the liquids are of a certain density which accomodates the formation of these bubbles.
In order to produce foam, several things are required. First, the surface area needs to be increased. Soap bubbles are a type of foam, for instance. The surface area is increased by applying force. Next, certain reactive chemicals are required. In the case of soap bubbles, soap is required. There are many different types of foam, such as styrofoam, all requiring different levels of force and substances. Sea foam is another type of foam.
surface is to dry
Water in the oil! lack of power and foam on the dip stick or white smoke: Head gasket? No loss of power lots of foam, gets hot rainbow on the water surface: crack in the engine or head? ouch!
Probably due to evaporation of the water, causing dissolved substances to come out of solution.
to stop condesation of water from the surface of pipe.
May be due to the fact that the cup is not as smooth as glass. This allows for a much larger surface area for the dissolved gases to come out of solution. Increased surface area causing this can be seen in the nucleation (frosting) at the botom of modern lager glasses
The striking surface can only be foam and cloth. You can put athletic tape on the flat non-striking surface though.
