At what point do they freeze? Some games might just have their own isolated issues - I remember Assassin's Creed froze on me a couple of times, but no other games have done it. If your games a freezing while they load there may be a problem with your console. I would recommend phoning Sony on their helpline (find the number on the inside back cover on any game manual) and asking them about it.
The PS3 slim and most of the fat PS3s do not play PS2 games and there is nothing that will change that. If you do not have a PS3 with a Card reader and 4 USB ports you will never be able to play PS2 games on it, except the few PS2 games sold at the Playstation store and already converted into PS3 games
The current versions of the PS3 will play converted (downloaded from the PS Store) PSone and PS2 games. Older, original PS3's (first release) support both PS2 and PS3 disk games. The PS3 will not play PC, Nintendo Wii, or Xbox 360 games.
bad ps3 or too much to load, or maybe the memory inside the disk had a fault.
Some of the titles work, and the PS3 is advertised as able to play PS1 games Yes! EVERY PS3 is capable of playing PSX games, while only some can play PS2 games. Your manual will be able to tell you if this is possible. The original model of the PS3 does but the later models do not. The PS3 plays select PS1 game titles. That is there way of saying it plays them, but don't sue us for false advertising if a certain game does not play. All PS3 are supposed to be able to play select titles of the PlayStation games, while only the 4 USB port early PS3s were supposed to play PS2 games No, you can only play Ps2 and Ps3 games on the PlayStation 3. That depends on what sort of PS3 system you have. If you have the 60GB version, yes. If 40BG, no. the above answer is correct about PS2 games only; for the PS or original PlayStation games, the games of many titles play without a problem on all PS3 models Yes...they will..but some ps1 games will tend to freeze if your ps1 games are scratched. Some PS1 titles can be played on all PS3 according too Sony PlayStation Yes the PS3 was designed to play PS1 game titles
No only the PS3 model with 4 USB ports play PS2 games
Your PS3 may have frozen because of a bug, or lack of memory.
At this time you can not, you must go to the PlayStation Store to buy games
The PS2 can never play PS3 games
No and they never willNot yet but I have Heard a rumor that sony are making a ps3 that can play ps1, ps2 and ps3 games
Yeah you suck!
Yes, there is a web browser that you can use on your television (not as good as computer browser) and you can download demos, videos, entire games, wallpapers, etc from the online Sony Store directly conected to the PS3 main menu.
No. Sony deleted that ability from PS3 so your old PS1 and PS2 games will never be playable on your PS3
No PC games will never work on the PS3. Games are designed for a single platform and only older games for can be converted to the PC with emulation software
No, a update should never interfere with any game.
Games cost $60 then start dropping in price, browser doesn't work perfect, no eject for games, DVDs, etc on remote
Sell your ps3.
That's because you, whomever replied to this, don't have the right PS3.
