Oh, wait! that's me. :) A chainsaw will stall for the same reasons as other combustion engines: * fouled plug * flooded engine * contaminated fuel * bound mechainsm I would check the plug and fuel first, then check the chain for free movement. Finally, make sure your fuel is clean and the mixture is correct.
