Peoples of many countries - Scots, Irish, Tamil, Chinese, Brazilian and so on, have emigrated to New Zealand. A common feature is to escape overcrowding and equality issues, and to make a better life for themselves and their children.

Unfortunately, this does little to alleviate conditions in the country they left, for which the usual remedies apply - better education, and less people.
