Bart Simpson's age is permanent because after the years he would start getting older and more mature so he wouldn't be able to get into the fun, crazy situations that we love to see him get into. Another reason is that 10 is a fun age, anything can happen when you're 10, but if you calculate Bart Simpson by this year (2011) would be like 51! (and as most of you would think 51 is not that fun of an age).
