For scenes of nudity blood and gore. True it is tame by 2012 standards but there is a throat slashing, an axe in the face,and a beheading that would still keep the R rating on there even in 2012

As of the year 2009 from what has been said the Friday the 13 movie (of this year) IS rated R. Past ones have also been rated R
