The MPAA said they gave it was PG-13 "for some sequences of intense action violence and frightening images".
It was rated 12A (PG-13 equivalent in the UK) because it "contains moderate fantasy violence and threat".
So those two together should give you the overall idea.

∙ 12y agoWell, at one part it kind of looks like Hermione and Harry are "doing it", there is some violence, dealths, depressing parts and parts that might be a bit scary for younger children. I recommend 8 and up or a mature 6 or 7 year old
