Ponyboy Curtis is a dynamic character in the book the outsiders because his feeling torward the socs change when he gets the note from Johnny shortly after Johnnys death, his feelings torward Darry change because he realizes that Darry really does love him, and wants the best for him, and thats why Darry is so hard on him, and Ponyboy is a dynamic character because his fellings for Dally change when Ponyboys sees that Dally is gallant (just as Johnny had said before) when he sees Dally come after him and Johnny when they were stuck in the burning church in order to save the children trapped inside. There are 3 reasons why Ponyboy is a dynamic character.
