They couldn't get away with lying. Like any reporting group, they have regulations that govern them. If they lied they would not only lose viewership, they would be sued and not be able to retain sponsors. The left extreme does not care for Fox News so they slander the network in much the same way that the extreme right dislikes CNN and refers to the network as the Communist News Network. Both networks strive to by as honest as they can. Both networks, like all humans may show their opinions at times.
