summer is hot because it cant be cold all year round and when it is summer on ur side of earth the temperature is higher and it becomes hot because during summer on ur side ur side is tilting towards the sun instead of the other side

Because the earth is tilted on its axis so in that specific time of year (summer) that part of the earth is facing towards the sun. So it stays tilting the same way all year round but as it orbits the sun wherever the tilt faces at that time causes the seasons. For example if the UK is on the side of the earth where the tilt is facing towards the sun it would be summer for the UK, and for the opposite side it would be winter. Hope this helps... just look at the previous answer if mine is too complicated lol
