Why is it that sasusaku and naruhina are so popular when they're both obviously un-canon?

Neither of them are technically un-canon because both couples are hinted at in the manga.
True, but that doesn't answer his or her question.because people liek hinata because she's cute and the couple naruhina is cute (stupid I know) so the fans will go and try to make a legitimate reason why this couple might happen but their points can easily be counteredSo then the newbies to naruto want to choose a couple so they'lll go with the one who has the most fans which is why it grows bigger nad bigger.sakusasu...I don't know....Uncanon? Sweetheart, now I believe you're just naive. No, NaruHina is not canon. It's not confirmed because, no, Naruto didn't reply to it at all. Naruto didn't say 'I love you' at all, now did he? Nope, not at all.
And wake up, can't you see that this confession might just be of platonic sorts. Do you not say 'I love you' to your friends and family? Does it HAVE to be romantic?
No, it does not.
NaruHina is popular because they 'don't want the main guy to be with the main girl. It's so cliche!' or 'It's just so cute!'

SasuSaku is popular because it was/is possible. If you completely ignore Shippuden! She loved him greated, he didn't reciprocate. She cared for him deeply, and he cared for her too.
It was possible, but no, it is not canon.

Do you people not know what canon means, it means it has happen, Asuma & Kurenai is canon, Minato & Kushina is canon, NaruSaku/SasuSaku/NaruHina/LeeSaku are all non-canon pairing because it hasn't happen yet.
Cause none of the pairings in Naruto are canon.

Its 'Orihime' and no Ichigo has yet to fall in love with anyone, like any of the other uncanon pairings in BLEACH, mostly because Kubo-sama wants more action than romance. Although, Kubo was asked in an interview if he had any plans to make Ichigo and Rukia a couple, but Kubo chose neither to confirm nor deny it.

Well...if this "Mason" is the one I'm thinking of from Disney Channel's "Wizards of Waverly Place", the novel series "Twilight" and the previously aformentioned "Wizards of Waverly Place" have absolutly nothing to do with each other. Mason Greyback [whose last name, I might add, is the same as Fenrir Greyback's, a werewolf in the "Harry Potter" series] is a young werewolf, who, in Transelvania [sp?], was bitten by a vampire, causing him to permanently become a wolf. Captain Rex is a relatively new character to the franchise, but as he makes no appearance in Star Wars: Episode III or post-Order 66, it is difficult to say what his ultimate outcome was. The creators of "The Clone Wars" TV show could intend to kill him off, but for all we know he's one of the 501st clones marching on the Jedi Temple in the 3rd movie. Now, Commander Cody is something of a conundrum. In the Episode III videogame, the player kills him in a boss battle where he summons multiple clones to assist him, though this is probably uncanon, as in a book and in the Force Unleashed II game it is said he was stationed on Timara City. If this is the case he was surely killed off in the Rebel assault on the garrison.
