First off, this is really not a question.
- The first man on the moon (Neil Armstrong), along with "Buzz" Aldrin was an achievement no man could have ever accomplished at the time period. Like Neil Armstrong's words, "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind, he meant that is wasn't so important to be on the moon for himself, but for experience for the ability to continue in the future.
Just the concept itself is pretty staggering--men sauntering about upon the surface of an "alien world." What set the space race off was the Soviet launch of Sputnik. Americans were flabbergasted the Russians were so far ahead of us--Sputnik weighed 183 lbs, whereas the American goal was barely 1/100th of that (1.8 lbs).
A couple months after the success of Sputnik the Russians launched a little dog into space on board a spacecraft that massed over 1000 lbs. They were VERY far ahead. Yuri Gagarin was the first man in space, and then the Russians snapped photographs of the back side of the moon.
The Americans knew they had no hope of beating the Russians on many of these firsts--the first space walk, and so on. But we realized that with a bit of luck and a lot of good planning, we might be able to be the first to set foot on the moon. So that became our goal. We managed to accomplish in eight years what we had originally set out to do in ten. And then we did it several more times, bringing back samples and a lot of important information about the moon.
The Chinese will be the next nation to set foot on the moon, and are likely to establish a permanently manned base there. I expect the Chinese may build a telescope in some polar lunar crater, perhaps, and significantly advance astronomical science. The Chinese don't squander hundreds of billions in unprovoked wars, they deserve to take the lead in these areas, while we, like the Russians, remember our heady glory days from yesteryear, and rest on our accomplishments.
Today the only two nations on earth with manned space programs today are the Chinese and the Russians.
it was important as it was the 1st ever one in the world!
was the first moon landing real or not.
Because he was the only man there.

When there is a full Moon, the Moon is on the opposite side of the Earth to the Sun, and the Sun's rays reflect off the moon and back to Earth. So we have SUN >>> EARTH >>> MOON. At this time, the side of the Moon facing the Earth is in full sunlight, and the Sun is very high in the sky as seen from the Apollo landing sites. This means that shadows on the Moon are very short at this time, which would have made it more difficult for astronauts to see detail on the surface, especially during the landing. So in fact the landing took place whilst it was "morning" on the Moon, so that the Sun was lower in the sky and shadows would make the surface detail stand out more.
He directed the film "Apollo 13" about the failed moon landing. After that he and Tom Hanks produced a mini series for HBO entitled "From the Earth to the Moon."
The moon missions were funded with our tax dollars.
It was in 1969.

He Put The First Moon Landing Tape On TV
It was the first time that man was trying to leave the planet earth and try to land on the moon, so it was a big attempt to land on the moon.
The most important lesson from Apollo 11 was that landing on the moon, walking and working on the surface, and returning safely home was possible.
There was no moon landing in 1994, the final moon landing occurred in December, 1972.
Sputnik and landing a man on the moon.
The moon landing was never faked at all.
Moon landing is the reaching to the surface of a moon in a spacecraft that may be human-driven or robotic. For humans the Moon is a natural satellite that is in orbit around the Earth, though any natural satellite of any planet is a moon, so to say moon landing is any act of arriving on the surface of a moon. Please see related link.
No, the final moon landing occurred in December of 1972
i have no idea n
The first landing by man on the moon, was made at the Tranquility Base.
The first men walked on the moon after landing on it safely.
half a billion watch the moon landing
