Maybe because the earth's tilted orbital plane causes the moon to orbit tiled, if the earth was straight it has said that the moon would orbit straight line.

Is the moons orbit in the same 3d plane as earths orbit?

No. For one thing, a plane is, by definition, 2-dimensional. The moon's orbit is tilted about 5 degrees relative to Earth's orbit.

Is the moons orbit around earth straight with respect to earth's orbit around the sun?

No. The moon's orbit is tilted by about 5 degrees relative to Earth's orbit around the sun. This is why we do not see eclipses every month.

How many moons do the suns have?

The Sun has no moons. Moons orbit Planets > Planets orbit the Sun.

Do moons and asteroids orbit the sun?

Asteroids orbit the sun. Moons orbit planets and planets orbit the sun. So you could say the moons orbit the sun. However, moons are kept in their orbits by the gravity of their planet and planets are kept in orbit by the gravity of the sun. So in that sense, moons do not orbit the sun.

Which planet has an orbit that is tilted significantly more than the others?

Uranus is has an orbit that is tilted significantly more than the other planets. Uranus is basically tilted on it's side during orbit.

Which five moons orbit Jupiter?

63 known moons orbit Jupiter.

What are moons?

Moons are satellites. They orbit planets.

Does the moon orbit Jupiter?

Not our (the Earth's) moon but Jupiter has lots of its own moons that orbit it.

How many moons orbit around the planet Uranus?

27 moons orbit Uranus that we know of

Is it rocks or moons that orbit aroung Saturn?

Moons

Why isn't there 2 eclipses every time the moon orbits the earth?

Because the sun, moon and earth are not always in alignment. The moon does not orbit the earth about the earths equator. The earths axis is tilted so the orbit around the sun does not always align with that of the moons orbit around the earth

Planets orbit around the sun but what do moons orbit?

Moons orbit around planets. They are natural satellites that are held in orbit by the planet's gravitational pull.
