I think X factor is successful because it is more honest than Americas Got Talent. The judges are more competent and the show does not pull the crap that Americas Got Talent has with it's contestants and the way they pick winners. Lastly, anyone who can watch more than 5 minutes of David Hasselhoff has my deepest sympathies. He is so bad he could induce a coma in a healthy person.
