The Mod squad was a television crime drama. They were a special plainclothes squad of two guys (one Black, named Linc) and a Girl- who was played by Peggy Lipton. Operated in hippie-prone high crime areas. It was not a movie. there was a novel based on possibly ( too rough) material for the TV show. Dad would not let me read it. Seems it was based on the murder of a woman who was called, in the story- a Nympho. Great Catherine, they used that word! Not flirt or man-chaser, but Nympho. That was enough for Dad.
The Mod Squad ended on 1973-08-23.
