The Cowardly Lion was afraid of everything, because he thought himself lacking in courage. Ironically, he showed himself to be quite courageous. For he leaped across a deep, wide ditch three times, in order to get Dorothy and her pet dog Toto, the Tin Woodman, and the Scarecrow safely on track to the Yellow Brick Road. And he scared the enslaved but ferocious Winkies away from attacking and killing him and his four friends.

Was Peter Fonda in 'The Wizard of Oz'?

No, Peter Fonda did not act in "The Wizard of Oz."Specifically, filming of the movie began in late 1938 and lasted into the first part of 1939. Peter Fonda was born during the filming, on February 23, 1939. So the movie still was being filmed at the time of Fonda's birth, but he was too young to have a part in the beloved 1939 movie version of "The Wizard of Oz."

What are the words written on the balloon when the Wizard leaves Oz?

The Wizard left the beautiful, enchanted, magical lands of Oz in the same way that he arrived. Many years before his meeting with Dorothy Gale, the Wizard had floated in on his hot-air balloon. Before Oz, he had lived in Nebraska. And so when he left Oz, he had on his balloon the letters 'State Fair Omaha'.

Is wizard of Wizard of Oz alive?

Dorothy Gale is a fictional character L. Frank Baum created for his 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, so in that sense, no, she is not alive. In the sense of the character, she moved to the land of Oz, where no one grows old or dies, so in that sense, yes, she is still alive.

Why is Pinhead associated with the Wizard of Oz?

The Wizard of Oz's real name is Oscar Zoroaster Phadrig Isaac Norman Henkel Emmannuel Ambroise Diggs. In short, it spelled out O.Z.P.I.N.H.E.A.D. But the Wizard didn't like that name because it was Oz Pinhead. So, he shortened it to Oz, which he wrote on his hot air balloon when he sailed into the land of Oz.

What is the best part for a 12-year-old in 'The Wizard of Oz'?

I thought the entire movie was great for both children and adults alike. However, if I had to answer that, I would say the best part of the Wizard of Oz for a 12-year-old would be when the Cowardly Lion is scared so badly by the Wizard's booming voice, that he runs down the corridor and jumps out a window.
