Most of the cruise ship today have only one class. You can get a more expensive cabin if you prefer, but it is still in the same class. There may even be some dining rooms that you have to pay extra for, but any one can pay the extra fee and use them if they choose to do so.

Was millvina dean in the first class?

No it said in her bio that she traveled as a first class passenger but she managed to get a boat with the second class passengers. Some mothers were actually leaving their babies on the boat so the baby would die and the mother would get a life boat, how selfish

Who were being allowed onto the lifeboats first on the titanic?

There were different criteria among the officers while loading passengers onto boats. Murdochs policy was 'women and children first'. Lightoller's was 'women and children ONLY' - until only the collapsibles were left and all the women seemed to be gone. Which is why him, Bride, and Gracie were on overturned boat B

Why did so many second class passengers aboard the Titanic?

the second class people on the titianic were treated almost like the first class except that they werent allowed off the boat until every single first class passenger was safetly off the boat and on the water. They werent allowed on the top deck like the first class, that was out of bounds for every passenger apart from the first class passenger.

Why did all Titanic's 2nd class kids survive but not first class?

Well, friend, it's a bit like painting a happy little tree. You see, during the Titanic tragedy, the second-class children were closer to the lifeboats and had easier access to safety. It's a reminder that sometimes, little moments of proximity and timing can make a big difference in our lives. Just like adding a touch of color can transform a painting, small details can change the course of history.

What was Titanic like?

,The Titanic was the first of it's kind.It was luxurious, and extravagant, a boat which many people wanted to cruise on. Some of the many features that the Titanic had included a pool, squash courts, saunas, and libraries in the first and second class. Not all of these pleasures were available to the second and third classes though. The first class common rooms had expensive furniture and ornate wooden paneling. There were barber shops in the first and second classes, and there was even a cafe for the first class passengers.

What class lever is a row boat?

A row boat is considered a second-class lever. In this type of lever, the load is located between the effort and the fulcrum. The oar acts as the effort, the load is the boat and the rower, and the pivot point is the fulcrum.

Why is an oar on a boat a second class lever?

An oar on a boat is considered a second-class lever because the fulcrum (pivot point) is at one end (the oarlock), the effort is applied at the other end by the rower's hands, and the load (the resistance to be overcome, in this case, the water) is in between.

Suppose you have a 19-foot boat. What information will be shown on your boat's capacity plate?

A boat's capacity plate contains several pieces of important information. First, it states the maximum passenger weight that can be carried in pounds. Second, it shows the maximum weight the boat can carry of any sort (people, boat accessories and gear). Third, it states the highest horsepower load the boat can have.

If boat goes twenty miles per hour Two minutes later a second boat goes twenty five miles per hour How long would it take for the second boat to get to the first boat?

When the the first boat is caught by the second boat they will both have travelled distance d. The first boat will have taken t minutes and the second boat t - 2 minutes. Distance = Velocity x Time, but velocity is given in mph and needs to be converted to miles per minute which is done by dividing by 60. For the first boat, d = t20/60 = t/3 For the second boat d = (t-2)25/60 = (t-2)5/12 = t5/12 - 5/6 But t/3 = t5/12 - 5/6.....multiply the equation by 12 to remove the fractions then 4t = 5t - 10 t = 10 As this is the time taken by the first boat, the second boat will have taken 10-2 = 8 minutes.
