Why is tourism bad?

In some ways tourism is very good but i have just recently done a project on this question and it seems that there are quiet a few negative points to the locals in that area so tourism is good for some but not so good for others.

many people through out the world enjoy tourism for maybe historical reasons (like stone henge) or for its amazing features (like the London eye or the Eiffel tower) it could be for the arts (like the Statue of Liberty) but usually a big tourist attractions like Niagara falls will probably make the country better known and also make, B&Bs , hotels or cafes more popular.....this will make the area wealthier!

Good effects of tourism include increased revenue for the city, state or country. It also exposes tourists to the culture which increases cultural diversity in general.
