Minor in Consumption, means that the police caught you while you where intoxicated, the fines vary by your age, what your BAC was, location, and who you where with. Some states have expections with a MIC, for example if you where with your parents they might let you go. If you get caught with a MIC and you where drinking and you blew above a .02 then you license will be taken away from 60-120 days depending on what the judge say. It is not uncommon for the ticket to be above 400 dollars. But if you go to court ( and this is your first one) the judge will most likely reduce the ticket, and there are ways that it can be taken off your record, talk to lawyer about that. But over all MIC is not that big of deal if you only get one. You made a mistake, just live up to it and move on, I promise it will not effect the rest of your life. Or future jobs/colleges.
