The book featured virtual characters of broken families and it talked about drug, alcohol and cigarette abuse, violence and used offensive language, the primary reasons for it being banned. In my opinion the book should not be banned because people should have the freedom to choose the boks that they can, and should read.

∙ 12y agoIt used to be banned, but now most high school curriculum's have it as required reading. the book outsiders is no longer banned because just recently i saw and read the book in my high school class.
