Eli David visited the United States in Season 8 of NCIS that was aired between 2010 and 2011. A bunch of Palestinian Terrorists also come to USA to kill Eli David. Gibbs and his team along with some Mossad Agents try to protect Eli. However, Eli gets injured but is saved and returns to Israel safely. During his trip he also makes amends on his relationship with his daughter Ziva David who was angry on him.

Is Ziva's Father coming back to NCIS in season 7?
Yes. Ziva's father is part of the storyline after Ziva is rescued from Africa by NCIS and Gibbs. The body of a US Marine who was also part of the ship Damocles that went down off the coast of Africa is found. Since Ziva and her partner from Mossad were part of the ship, Ziva's father Eli David is part of the storyline when they try to implicate that Ziva killed the Marine. But, Gibbs and Director Vance figure out this scheme and send off the Mossad officer without Ziva and tell Eli David that Ziva is property of NCIS and not Mossad.

Eli will not die because a huge percentage of degrassi fans are Eli fans. If they killed Eli off the show they would only have the drew and Declan fans left which are a lot less than the Eli fans. I think that Eli might get really hurt, but they cant ruin his perfect face soooo.... we'll see. But they will DEFINITELY NOT kill Eli off the show.
