∙ 14y agoIt is clear she died for a cause- and was executed by Fire in l43i at the town or Rouen. One wonders if she died in the field- would the situation have been the same-then she would be a fallen war heroine- and almost certainly her body would have been preserved and taken to Paris. It is rare to find a Recumbent (laid out) St. Joan statue though I am sure they do exist.
