Why was Mr Meaty cancelled?

Well all we have is speculations since the network never told why. This is what wiki says:

The TV series received a great deal of criticism from vegetarians and parents who did not like the gross-out humor. Many petitions were signed and sent to Nickelodeon to end the show. This may be a reason for its move to the Nicktoons Network and ultimately its short life. It is also the first show on Nickelodeon to utilize puppetry which many kids probably didn't appreciate as much as regular animation which could have also contributed to its short life.

The information as to why specifically Mr Meaty was cancelled has evidently been lost to broadcast history.

Presumably it was cancelled for the same reason almost every show ends that isn't ended by its showrunner or creator. The ratings weren't high enough to justify paying for additional episodes.

Because the show had many unfriendly words and contained a lot sexual harassment toward children and minors. Nickelodeon, the channel that aired it, received many emails from the children's parents saying, "Please cancel Mr. Meaty. It is very disrespectful toward our children." Nickelodeon just said, " Parents, if you think this show is not a good idea for your children, don't let them watch it. Choose other shows for them to enjoy." However, Nickelodeon made up its mind and decided to cancel Mr. Meaty due to all of the parents' arguments.

Well, supposedly because many parents were arguing that Mr. Meaty was very offensive and inappropriate towards their children. Many parents have been contacting with Nickelodeon stating, "Please cancel and eliminate the Mr. Meaty show. It is very inappropriate and offensive towards our children." And Nickelodeon stated, "Parents, if you don’t think the show is appropriate for your children, then just don’t let them watch it. We have other shows can are appropriate for your children to watch." The real reason though is still unknown. Nickelodeon has never provided any concrete reasons to why their shows get cancelled. Probably the low ratings didn’t justify to pay for anymore new episodes.
