Nicktoons Gravity Jet Racing became a rumor as a YouTube video was released in early 2011 as well as some screenshots (video is no longer valid). The game from what the screenshots suggested was Nickelodeon's equivalent to a racing game to come on home consoles rather in arcades like Nicktoons Nitro.

The screenshots (from what I remember) featured Bessie Higenbottom from The Mighty B! and Jenny Wakeman from My Life as a Teenage Robot. This would've made Bessie's first appearance in a video game as well as Jenny's second time; first being in Attack of the Toybots. SpongeBob SquarePants and various toons from canceled shows like Ren and Stimpy and Invader ZIM were said to appear as well; Stimpy's second time since Toybots and ZIM's third time since Globs of Doom.

It was unclear if it was going a continuation of the Nicktoons Unite! series as "Spongebob featuring Nicktoons" was used on the last title: Globs of Doom. Timmy Turner from The Fairly Odd Parents wasn't in this game for whatever reasons as he was in the original Unite!. The screenshots may have been leaked or faked; no one really knows as the pictures mysteriously disappeared after a few weeks of said release. It is unknown if Nickelodeon will pull this out of hiding but they might've have lost some money if those pictures really were real and leaked.

Suspicions ended as Nick released Nicktoons MLB; another sports game for home consoles. The character list was mostly different than what was presumed for Gravity Jet Racing. Danny Phantom and Jimmy Neutron stayed and more recent toons like T.U.F.F. Puppy, Fanboy and Chum Chum, Planet Sheen and Avatar: The Last Airbender also made an appearance for the first time.

Since then, there hasn't been a Nicktoons video game. Gravity Jet Racing wasn't 'canceled' per say as it was never released. The idea just hangs in people's minds that saw the screenshots and possibly in Nick's vaults.
