Tina Louise, who played actress Ginger Grant on the 1964-1967 television series, "Gilligan's Island", was actually disapointed in herself for even taking on the '60's t.v. series' role in the first place! She told reporters, before the making of the 1978-79 reunion movies,..that because of the t.v. series,..she was forever "TYPECAST" as Ginger Grant,..and that she couldn't get any other "REAL" television or movie roles because the "WORLD" will always know her as the dim-witted, red-headed, "B" movie actress,Ginger Grant,...and because of this, she would have NO part in ANY reunion movies or anything to do with the Gilligan's Island franchise!

No, she cut her hair after filming the movies. She did so because she wasnt allowed to cut her hair for the entire period of shooting the movies, so she did it in an act of freedom.
well, no one knows there wasnt one for holidays previosly, so i doubt it
MAYBE! because you can record it and watch it at home without buying the real thing?!
because if it wasnt people would start doing that more, then less and less people would go to stores, and movie stores would go out of buisness.
In the movies Jessica is a combination of Jessica and Lauren, and Eric is a combination of Eric and Ben. Just to cut down on the cast I guess.
