blockage in the toilet itself...where it cant be seen. Sometime, wires from toilet deodorizers, tampons, kids toys, etc. get hung in the pathways of the toilet itself. It then blocks waterflow...but cant be seen. A special tool, a toilet auger, can be used to carefully pull out, or push thru any blockage. good luck

Your clogged toilet is overflowing because there is a blockage in the pipes preventing water from flowing properly. To fix it, you can try using a plunger to dislodge the blockage or a plumbing snake to remove it. If these methods don't work, you may need to call a professional plumber for assistance.
Toilet bubbles appear when flushed because of air trapped in the pipes or a partial blockage in the drain. This can happen even if the toilet is not fully clogged.

Are the shower and toilet blocked in your bathroom?
An overflowing toilet that is not clogged may be caused by a problem with the toilet's float mechanism or a blockage in the drain pipe. The float mechanism may be malfunctioning, causing the water to continue flowing into the toilet bowl and overflowing. Additionally, a blockage in the drain pipe could be preventing the water from properly draining, leading to an overflow. It is recommended to check and potentially repair the float mechanism or clear any blockages in the drain pipe to resolve the issue.
If the waste from one toilet is backing into another toilet, sink, or tub, you may need to use a back- flow prevent-er. This will keep all drainage from your home flowing in the proper direction. Also, you could have a clogged drainage pipe between the two fixtures!
A toilet can get clogged even if there is nothing visible in it due to a blockage further down the pipes, such as a buildup of toilet paper, debris, or mineral deposits. This can restrict the flow of water and cause a clog.

As of about 4 hours ago, I had a clogged toilet. We had had several days of extreme cold temperature. Trying to unplug the toilet with a plunger I determined that the main drain was stopped. I poured a gallon of anti-freeze down my sink and within 5 minutes, the whole toilet went down and flushed.
