Because it would be very hard to unite a cast of hot actors without making it overwhelming for the audience. Not to mention the fact that most hot actors that come to mind are high paid ones. The budget would be too high. If you ask me I'd rather keep my brotherhood vampires in my imagination. They're a lot more hotter there than anything I see on tv ;)
