Rangiku Awata: I agree with that statement for a messed up person asking a messed up question would probably being having some serious issue. Therefore they ask crude questions which is stupid, but if it makes sense then that's a different matter.
It's a form of personal expression. The person may be 'testing the waters' to either positively or negatively impress their 'audience'. Ensconced in the psychology of bad behavior is the premise that any attention is better than no attention at all.
