∙ 14y agoBasically all that's left in the Naruto series until Naruto Shippuden is goofy filler episodes that don't further the storyline at all.
Therefore, I doubt "Naruto" will return, though Shippuden may air.
However, the Toonami programming block has been canceled, and Shippuden is also slightly more adult oriented. So if Naruto does return to American TV on Cartoon Network, it will most likely end up in the Adult Swim programming block.
Unfortunately, there is no official word on whether or not this will ever happen.

∙ 12y agoI am from New Zealand, and so far the Naruto Shippuden episodes are still on cartoon network but at around 10 to 11pm.
Note: You can watch Naruto and Naruto Shippuden episodes at narutoget.com, all Naruto episodes are available in English and subbed. Naruto Shippuden episodes are only available in English from episode 1 to 80 and the rest is subbed.
