It does appear likely that there will be a movie (or movies) based on the Amulet series. In 2011, actor Will Smith and Warner Bros. bought the rights to Kazu Kibuishi's graphic novel series. They have asked screenwriter Rob Edwards (from The Princess and the Frog) to adapt the series for film. Will Smith plans to be a co-producer, and it is rumored that he and his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and their children Jaden and Willow, could star in the film. (However, now that Jaden and Willow are teenagers, this seems unlikely.)
