Will there be a new season of Inuyasha?

In a manner of speaking, yes. The single season (26 episodes) finale of Inuyasha, entitled Inuyasha: Kanketsuhen or Inuyasha: The Final Act is available to watch on Shonen Sunday's anime website.

It has been airing weekly (the day of the week has changed frequently throughout its run) during the same period that the episodes have run in Japan.

The last episode included a commercial for the four-disc boxed set edition of The Final Act, which will presumably be brought over to other regions, eventually.

The Final Act concludes the 167-episode, 4-movie long Inuyasha animated series.

no their will not be anymore episodes of inuyasha , they stop showing inuyasha in 2004. but they are still continuing the story in the manga.

no there isn't really going to be a new season of inuyasha but the producers of it is trying to make i think the 5th inuyasha movie. if you want to see the 1st, 2nd and 3rd you should go on www.megavideo.com.

YES! there already are 6 new episodes. go to the web site inuyashamovies.net, then go to the left hand cornor and click on the final act. once there go down and click on subbed videos,(u cant miss it its in bold red) there will be 6 or 7 new episodes availiable.
